Batman Arkham Knight was the latest game in the Batman series and let me tell you it does not disappoint.
It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Brothers, adapted from the much renowned DC COMICS. It was released in 2015.

I played it on a laptop with a gtx 1060 and got more than 75 fps in avg. I would suggest you guys to keep the dynamic fog turned off under Nvidia settings because that encroaches and kills a lot of fps, but does not add details or realism in a reciprocative way.
Game PLOT:
Here you play as THE world’s greatest detective BATMAN in a modern-day Gotham City.
The game starts post the death of Joker. The Central Villain here is SCARECROW and he threatens to plunge Gotham into a scary fit with the use of his FEAR gas.
Simultaneously a lot of other smaller villains find an opening to strengthen their hold over Gotham using the window of this threat and the mass evacuations that follow.
GAMEPLAY:
Initially, I started off with a normal batman and then after completing one mission I was given the advanced new bat-suit, courtesy of Lucius Fox.
Then the game quickly took me into a training exercise, familiarising me with the moves and MAN, THEY ARE COOL!!
You get to take a lot of advantage of stealth, living up to the fullest potential of the League of Shadows trained, our beloved DARK KNIGHT. I absolutely loved the FEAR TAKEDOWN move. It allows you to drop into a group of armed/unarmed enemies and take them all out in a disciplined frenzy of martial art moves without getting a single hit!! However, I had to recharge its ability by making a silent takedown first.
In this game unlike the previous games of batman, I got to use the BATMOBILE. It was a stunner. Be it taking down outposts or battling tanks or tracking down an enemy, the batmobile nails it.
The storytelling, unlike other RPG games, is stellar. It brings in the grave and solemn mood of really being in a dire situation and playing as a savior of the innocent.
Villains:
As the savior of Gotham City, I got to face a lot of well-known villains like Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler and many more. Noteworthy among them was RIDDLER whose countless puzzles are worth solving, each being different from the other.
Usable gadgets in-game:
The game features a respectable array of batman’s high-tech gadgets. Starting from the most trusted signature Batarang going all the way to voice synthesizer and hacking device. I could remotely detonate bombs, hack enemy sentry and use the environment to my advantage.
The voice synthesizer can be used to send enemies to specific locations where batman has the tactical and strength superiority.
With the help of the remote electrical charge, I could blast off and electrify enemies. And it is a sight to witness!!
I won’t go into further details about this. You got to experience this First Hand!!
Graphics
The overall graphics are amazing. The city looks realistic. The streets are incredibly detailed.
The movement of the batmobile, it’s cruising through the mean streets of Arkham battering everything that falls in its way is breathtaking to watch.
Weather effects like rain, fog, dust, and pollen could not be better!! It is a heavily detailed game starting from the grass until the pupil of the character’s eye.
However, in order to experience all this in full HD and at respectable frame rates, I would suggest having a gtx 1060 graphics card or an RX 470.
Playable Characters
I got to play as batman, robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, Azrael and quite surprisingly, yes, you guessed it, JOKER.
In certain missions, I got to work in partnerships with Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing and those missions were great.
I also got to choose from a collection of attires for the above-mentioned characters, also each character has one or two new usable gadgets.
FINAL VERDICT
Batman Arkham Knight is one of the good games that I have played in my life. It has it all from storytelling to seriousness of plot, gravity, and weight of characters and graphics.
It is a must-try for anyone who wishes to play only a handful of games but seriously.
